Goals

1. Create a tool to access resources.

2. Promote membership support by raising awareness of the great things our members and memberships are doing.

3. Create a space for registrations, dues, and gear to be sold in one spot.

4. Combine our several websites into one place.

Concept

Beginning with 3 separate websites and the addition of a 4th, this was not a good experience for the members. It was decided that we would merge all the websites into 1 single space to improve the experience and make things easier to find, while also giving the public access to our SYZter-owned shops.

The project evolved from being building the marketplace website alone to a conglomeration.

All work was done in WordPress.

Considerations

These designs were made with minimalism in mind. With this new design, it is simple and easy to use, as well as adding new features that we did not have previously. We needed to have sset roles for individuals to be able to contribute and be able to sell goods, while also ensuring security was not at risk.
